Defined the island of lemurs because it is home to many families of Makis, a variety of lemurs also called Macaco.

From a distance it looks like a giant tortoise shell, it is surrounded by volcanic rocks, which protect it from the waves and covered with dense vegetation.

The island of lemurs is also called Nosy Ambariovato, which means that the island is surrounded by rocks because of its geological structure.

Numerous golden beaches and emerald water make Nosy Komba a gem of nature.
